My life as a scientist ...
For all the years of my professional life, I studied and worked as a polymer chemist; from my hometown in northern Iran to Tehran, and then years later from Tehran to Norway, to Switzerland, and to the USA. From an engineer, to a PhD and then to a research scholar.

Growth ...
Along my academic life, I started painting first when I moved to Switzerland, when I began analyzing my feelings more seriously, observing things around me more carefully, and connecting with my inner self. In that sense, I had a turning point in Switzerland for which I am always grateful.
Science and art!
In the past few years my research focus has been on colors, physics of light, light interaction with matter, and color-changing in materials, and this has only made me more engaged with "the world of colors". Regular working with microscopes on micro/nano materials has made my eyes curious to find and capture certain features, patterns, textures, and order/disorder when looking at things around me. In a way, science inspires my art, and art fuels my science. Now, I enjoy combining science and art to create images in which everyone can see their own story, sometimes similar, and sometimes far different from one another.
